The Seven Deadly Sins

“The Seven Deadly Sins” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. This is one of the high fantasy mangas.

The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of seven knights in the Liones Kingdom, the continent of Britannia. They fled in all possible directions, after they were suspected of the kingdom overthrow.

Ten years later, the Holy Knights, the mastermind of plot staged a coup d’état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. The third princess, Elizabeth, then starts out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.

Haru-ichiban

Haru-ichiban is a meteorological phenomenon in Japan, and the first strong south winds of the year. It causes wind damage, avalanche and melting snow due to sudden temperature arises. This meteorological phenomenon occurs because the wind blows from southern high pressure toward the low pressure passing through the Sea of Japan.

Even then, Haru-ichiban blows, which tells us finally spring has come.

“The Gag Manga King” Fujio Akatsuka


Japanese manga is roughly divided into two types, a story manga and a comical manga. Fujio Akatsuka (1935 – 2008) was the first comical manga artist.

Akatsuka was also one of manga artists in Tokiwa-so apartment. Most of the representative works such as “Himitsu no Akko-chan”, “Osomatsu-kun”, “Tensai Bakabon” and “Mōretsu Atarō” ware animated, these are very popular.

His motto is “Life is a gag.” People have laughed a lot by his deformed the character and the nonsense story. Innovative lines and actions also ware in great vogue. Akatsuka was called “The Gag Manga King”.
