Case Closed: Detective Conan

“Case Closed”, known originally as Meitantei Conan(Detective Conan) is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. Main character, Shinichi Kudo is a high school detective. During an investigation, he is attacked by a syndicate known as the “Black Organization”, and he is transformed into a child by an experimental poison. Kudo changes the name as Conan Edogawa who hides his identity. While he solves various cases, continues to investigate the Black Organization.

Both the original manga and the animation are very successful. Especially this manga has enormous popularity in Tottori Prefecture where the author, Gosho Aoyama was born. As an example, Tottori Airport has been nicknamed “Tottori Sakyu Conan Airport”.

Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The original manga, the animation and the live-action movie were all very successful in various countries of the world.

“Fist of the North Star” is a Japanese manga series written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. Set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by a nuclear war, the story centers on a warrior named Kenshiro, the successor of a deadly martial art style known as Hokuto Shinken.

It was very successful in powerful action, in various countries of the world. There are many creators affected in this manga, such as The Wachowskis, the director of “The Matrix”.

Aichi Prefecture is located between the Kanto and the Kansai regions. Because it is convenient to transport to both Tokyo and Osaka, it has been a key point of traffic since ancient times.
